Or at least that is what the weatherman keeps saying. We had snow both on Friday and Saturday morning. I was so excited, thinking "Finally! I get to build my snowman!!!". I woke up in the morning to see the snow coming down, quite heavy and fast I might add. And then, to my sadness, just a few hours later, the streets were clear and the only thing that had a bit of snow on it was the tops of the parked cars. Now admittedly, my favorite seasons are the spring and summer. My birthday is in summer! So naturally when it is cold, it gets a bit...bland for me. I mean, if it's going to snow...then SNOW! Living in New York has gotten me used to huge snow days, and still having to trudge to school in 3 feet of snow.
And besides, the artist in me is dying to do a set of shots outside in the snow! So I am working on some ideas to bring that to life, and getting a few people to participate. I hope it turns out the way I like! As soon as everything gets together, then my vision will come to life!!! *cue evil laughter*
Oh! And my website is finally up! Finally, released. yay! http://www.MarisaTaylorPhotography.com
I'm still working on a few things such as the portrait pricing guide, since the wedding one is done, but it should come together smoothly
But can you seriously believe we are in 2011? I graduated highschool 7 years ago! It feels so long ago. And 7 years ago, I had just moved from NYC to Delaware (such a change!), and met my now husband (who we've been together pretty much since we met). It seems like a blur. Well 2011 is going to be great! I am definitely looking forward to it as a business. I am very excited for the engagement shoots and weddings I have booked. Plus, all of my other fun activities like Steampunk Fair and Renaissance Fair!!!
So thats about it. Enjoy the rest of your Sunday!!!
