Kit's Portrait Session {Delaware and Pennsylvania Childrens Photographer}

What can I say about Kit. He is adorable, loves tractors, and is a farm boy at heart.  I had a wonderful time spending the day with him, following him around as he played on the tractor and the swings, and ran around his HUGE backyard!

At the end of the day, we let Kit and Charlotte play together. It was quite amusing! I love how children interact with each other non-verbally.

Marissa's Senior Session {Delaware Senior Portrait & Lifestyle Photographer}

So Marissa is awesome. And here is why:

1) We have the same name...even though I have one "s" and she has two in her name.
2) She loves horses, in fact her summer job is working at a horse ranch in Florida.
3) She is home schooled (which I think is really awesome)
4) She is the little sister of my friend Cara! (who I have photographed three times before)

Even though it was a bit hot, we rocked out her session.  Thankfully Cara was there, doing her sisterly duty of making Marissa laugh.  I definitely enjoyed my time with them! Here are some of the images from her session!  A huge congrats to you ,Marissa! Class of 2012!

Beth's Lifestyle Maternity Session {Delaware Lifestyle Maternity Photographer}

I first met Beth through a forum for The Birth Center. We then met at Panera Bread (my favorite place) to discuss her birth photography.  We both had our daughters with us, and we laughed and got along great.  After ironing out the birth photography details (in which baby should be coming pretty soon!), we set up her Belly to Baby collection.  A maternity session and then a newborn session. And here are the images from her maternity session.  Let me tell you know, Beth is gorgeous, her daughter Maeve is absolutely adorable, and I had such a lovely time spending part of the day with them photographing some special moments.  I am so excited for when the little one arrives!

Children-The Buckworth Boys {Delaware Baby and Child Photographer}

Meet Adam and his big brother Lucas. Two handsome little boys, full of personality. Especially Lucas!  I wish you could have been at the session to here the things that we talked about. Like connecting his Wii, Phineas and Ferb, and more.  Here are some of the images from their session.  I can't wait to see these two again.

Photography Idol - Chic Critique Forum

I admit, Chic Critique comes up with some amazing ideas.  The latest one is a Photography Idol.  You submit an image, get critiqued, if you make it to the final cut, you then have to submit images weekly for live critique. And the prizes are amazing. So of course, I am going to throw my hat into the pool, and hope that I make it to the final cut. If not, it's ok. You live, learn, and move on, and keep doing what you are doing.

So first, I have to submit an image that I think best reflects my overall style. Mmmm, yeah that's a hard one. I have SO many images that I love...

So I am going to go with one of the images from my latest maternity session with Beth.  Clean colors, crisp, bright, fun, and able to show beauty! That's my style. And I think this image represents it best.

The Gottschall Family {Delaware Family Portrait Photographer}

I loved meeting and photographing Lana and her parents Stacey and John.  Even though little Lana wanted to give me her serious face, there were moments where I was able to capture her being absolutely adorable. She loved being swung by her parents and thrown up in the air by her dad.
